The Clubhouse

Nestled just north of downtown Baltimore, the Mount Vernon neighborhood stands as one of America’s most architecturally distinguished and culturally rich enclaves. Designated a National Historic Landmark, this storied district is anchored by the soaring Washington Monument and graced by four impeccably designed parks—masterworks of the famed beaux-arts firm Carrère & Hastings. With its stately trees, classical fountains, and carefully preserved 19th-century streetscapes, Mount Vernon offers a rare and harmonious blend of grandeur and serenity.

At the center of this historic neighborhood lies The Mount Vernon Club, a distinguished private institution housed in a magnificent 1842 Greek Revival mansion. With its fluted columns, timeless proportions, and storied past, the Club invites members and guests into a world where heritage, elegance, and warm hospitality are beautifully intertwined.

Beyond the Drawing Room, the Main Dining Room offers views of the Courtyard below. With seating for up to 50, it provides a gracious setting for member events, seasonal celebrations, and formal dining with effortless style.

Combined, these two room are joined by over-sized pocket doors to accommodate 80 or more guests in one of Baltimore's most refined settings.

Nestled beside the Drawing Room is the Small Dining Room, a secluded jewel perfect for intimate meals or private conversations. Seating up to 8 guests, the room offers both elegance and discretion, with doors that may be closed for complete privacy, while retaining the pristine view of the park.

Rounding out the second floor is the Writing Room—a beloved space among members for its serenity, charm, and timeless appeal.
